GRE, the makers of the popular "PSR" line of digital trunking scanners, is displaying two new scanner models at the CES 2012 show....
The PSR-120, an 800mhz conventional-only analog scanner, appears to be a direct answer to Uniden's new BC125AT. The PSR-120 is a "bank" scanner, in that it features 10 "banks" of channels that can be scanned individually. The PSR-120 appears to support PL/DPL decoding, but no alpha tagging.
The PSR-900, a simplified mobile version of the popular PSR-800, is also new for 2012. The PSR-900 features a removable remote control head with two magnets in the rear that can attach to any metal surface. The PSR-900 appears to support all the features of the popular PSR-800 handheld, including P25 Digital, most popular trunking formats, and the integration of a 2GB SD card for virtually unlimited storage.
